This policy explains how Aichora LLC uses personal information in connection with Rentery Home, its articles, digital shop, newsletter, free-download offers, and support services at https://renteryhome.com.

Who is responsible

Aichora LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, operates Rentery Home and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy covers Rentery Home. It does not subscribe you to other websites or newsletters operated by the same owner. External merchants and services have their own privacy notices.

Information you provide

• Contact and support: your name, email, subject, message, and information you choose to provide about a project or order.
• Newsletter and free resources: your email, name if provided, signup source, subscription status, consent and signup records, and preferences.
• Purchases and downloads: product and order details, purchase email, payment status, delivery records, and download access information, as explained below.
• Comments or submissions, where available: the name, content, and other information you submit. A published comment or contribution may be visible to other visitors; do not include private details in material intended for publication.
• Privacy requests: the information needed to locate your records, verify your authority, and respond.

You do not need to subscribe to read our public articles. Providing contact details is necessary when you want a reply, an emailed resource, or an order associated with your email.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting and security services process information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser and device information, referring pages, and error or security events to deliver and protect the site. Browser storage remembers settings and interactions such as cookie choices and dismissal of the free-gift popup.

If you enable browser notifications, we process a browser-specific push subscription, technical keys, selected topics, and notification delivery or click information. You can revoke notification permission through your browser settings. This permission is separate from an email subscription.

Newsletter and free PDF delivery

When you explicitly subscribe, we use your information to send the Rentery Home newsletter, including home ideas, DIY projects, product news, and offers. When you request a subscriber gift, we also use it to prepare and email a private download link and manage access to the file. Download records can include an expiring token, expiry time, and download count.

Resend provides email delivery and newsletter contact management. Email-service records can include delivery, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events and, where tracking is enabled, email opens and link interactions. We also send private operational alerts about new messages and subscribers to the owner's email inbox. This does not make your information public.

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not require returning a resource already downloaded. Necessary support, delivery, security, or purchase-related messages are separate from marketing. A purchase alone does not constitute permission to send newsletters.

Purchases and Stripe

Stripe processes payments on its hosted checkout pages. Rentery Home does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Stripe may process billing, device, network, authentication, fraud-prevention, and payment information, including information required for your selected payment method.

We receive or store information needed to fulfil and support the order, such as the product, purchase email, checkout and payment references, amount, currency, payment status, timestamps, and private download-token status and count. These records also help us address access problems, refunds, disputes, fraud, and accounting obligations.

Purposes and legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our processing is based on the following purposes and legal grounds:

• Providing purchases, requested downloads, and related support: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before a contract.
• Sending newsletters and operating optional consent-based technologies: your consent, which you can withdraw without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• Handling general enquiries, correcting content, maintaining a secure site, preventing abuse, and keeping proportionate operational records: our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights; contract-related support may instead be necessary for the contract.
• Meeting applicable accounting, tax, consumer-protection, and privacy requirements: compliance with legal obligations.
• Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims: our legitimate interests and applicable legal requirements.

We do not use your information to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

At this policy's revision date, Rentery Home has not enabled Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AdSense, Ezoic, or Mediavine through its site settings. Naming these possible services does not mean that they are current advertising partners.

Before adding analytics or advertising, we will update the relevant disclosures and configure the required consent and privacy controls. Such services can process cookie or device identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, browsing activity, consent signals, and ad interactions. Targeted-advertising disclosures and opt-out mechanisms will need to reflect the providers actually used. This policy is not consent to future tracking.

If you follow an affiliate link, the merchant or affiliate network may use referral identifiers and its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Who receives information

Information is available to authorized people working on the site and to providers as needed for their functions:

• Google email services: receipt and management of support correspondence and private owner notifications. [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
• Professional advisers, authorities, or other recipients where reasonably necessary to meet a legal obligation, protect rights, or handle a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Some providers, including payment providers, also process information for their own legal or security purposes under their own notices. We do not rent our newsletter list or sell personal information for money. Advertising-related sharing, if introduced, may have a broader meaning under some privacy laws and will require separate disclosure and applicable choices.

International processing

We are a United States business, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data-protection rules may differ from those where you live. Where applicable transfer rules require it, a lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards are necessary, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data; a provider's location alone does not establish that a particular transfer mechanism applies.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose rather than a single period for every record:

• Subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed. Limited consent, complaint, and suppression records may be kept afterward to document choices and avoid sending unwanted marketing.
• Messages and support records are kept as needed to answer the request, follow up, and address related complaints or disputes.
• Order, refund, and payment-reference records are kept for fulfilment, support, bookkeeping, and applicable legal requirements.
• Download links expire separately from the underlying delivery or order records. Link expiry does not mean that every associated record is immediately erased.
• Technical logs and security records are kept as needed to diagnose problems and investigate or prevent abuse; provider retention and backups can differ from the live website database.

We assess ongoing need by reference to the purpose, outstanding support or disputes, legal requirements, and security considerations. Information should be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request deletion, subject to lawful retention needs.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision on a request. You may complain to your relevant data-protection authority, including in your place of residence where those rights apply.

Applicable US state laws may also grant rights to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing and to use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected right. Where an applicable law requires recognition of a browser opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, that signal must be respected for the covered activity; it is not an unsubscribe request for email.

Children and security

Rentery Home is intended for adults interested in home and DIY projects, not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service or storage system is completely secure. Keep private download links and account credentials confidential.
